What will you learn?

PADI Scuba Diver course has 3 main phases:

      • Knowledge development: 3 options
        i) Online
ii) Independent study (scuba monkey will provide you with a manual)
iii) In Scuba Monkey’s classroom (3d Vision link to show monkey?)
This will provide you with all the basic principles of scuba diving, you will only have to complete
sections 1-3 out of the possible 5 of the Open Water Diver Course.
      • Confined water dives – We teach you the basic scuba skills in your hotel pool or local sheltered bay (Green Bay) allowing you to practice and master each before moving into the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea
      • Open Water dives – We take you diving and evaluate the skills you have learnt in your confined water dives. (Dives 1 & 2 from the Open water Course).

How can you start learning now?

Online learning keeps more of your holiday days free for the fun stuff, perfect if you don’t want to spend time in the classroom. These options also include the video and is the premium version of the open water course for all you VIP’s out there. It’s better for the planet too – no paper!

  • PADI eLearning – do all the theory from the first 3 sections before you go on holiday, then do the practical application when you arrive (the fun stuff!)
  • Open Water Dive Touch – brand new for all you tech addicts. This interactive software also guides you through the first 3 sections of the open water course with a fluid swipe of your finger across your tablet. Select the open water touch option from Scuba Monkey’s eLearning link

What scuba gear will you use?

You learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank
Additional materials needed: a log book (if you opted for the online or touch learning options)
